Sponsors and Partners - Menton, France 2018 July 5-8

The intersection of industry and academia!

Is your company there?

What's happening in 2018?

As in previous workshops, there will be an emphasis on emerging techniques, but also translation to clinical practice and trials beyond imaging. There will be ample opportunity and time specifically allotted for discussion (more than in previous years) and interaction between industry and academia.

This year we will have a set of 3-4 talks per session that are arranged by topics and then will take our time for discussion with a moderator. We encourage all attendees and even those who will not be able to attend the meeting or a specific session in person to send their questions in advance. These will be presented in the discussions and as a group we will (hopefully) find answers to all of these during the meeting.

Proposed Highlights of the 2018 workshop will be:

Pre-conference hands-on workshop on musculoskeletal ultrasound

Role of imaging in anti-nerve growth factor clinical trials

Status of DMOAD developments

Update on new imaging technologies

Poster tours and debates

Panel discussions with industry representatives

Of course, a workshop relies on financial support, and one of the reasons for writing to you is to request sponsorship by your company for the 2018 workshop. We would be most grateful if you could let us know at your earliest convenience, whether there is a chance for receiving support from your company, and if so, we kindly ask you to include this in your 2018 budget.

In addition, we would very much value your active participation in the workshop to help bring the perspectives of industry to the forum and engage with academic and clinical investigators.

TESTIMONIALS

"The workshop is a "must" for anyone involved in the development or utilization of imaging in osteoarthritis.  The combination of invited lectures, and submitted abstracts provides the format for formal part of the meeting.  What sets this workshop apart is the time provided for questions, discussion and debate.  The venue and social events together allows for friendly discourse, further learning and formulation of new concepts and theories.  Finally the social events provide the opportunity to develop camaraderie with the other delegates and the key opinion leaders in this rapidly developing field leading to friendships and collaborations that last for years.

Ali Guermazi as the chairman of this workshop, is the ultimate host.  He ran the Symposium in Tunisia last year which had the perfect balance of in-depth medical/scientific discussions with group dinners and social events with the backdrop of an amazing country."
